• Format the hard drive.
• Reinstall Windows.
• Reinstall all hardware drivers.
• Device Manager conflict/error resolution.
• Install critical and recommended Windows patches.
• Install antivirus software. Update the software's virus definitions.
• Schedule recurring antivirus software scans to continually verify that no virus infections are present..
• Install antispyware software.
• Remove unnecessary bloatware/trialware.
• Install the current version of Adobe Flash.
• Install the current version of Adobe Reader.
• Install the current version of Adobe Shockwave.
• Install the current version of Apple Quicktime.
• Install the current version of Java.
